Controller
A growing organization is seeking a Controller to support its U.S. operations. This role combines strategic financial oversight with light HR duties. The position works closely with senior management, leads a small team, and plays a key role in aligning business operations with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities – Finance
Lead financial forecasting, planning, and the annual budgeting process.
Analyze variances between actuals and forecasts and prepare summary reports with actionable insights.
Oversee month‑end close activities, bank postings, and coordinate accounts payable through shared service providers.
Manage cost allocations for inventory and support intercompany reconciliations.
Handle cash collection activities and support customs‑related documentation when necessary.
Strategic Support & Decision‑Making
Serve as a strategic partner to senior leadership by providing data‑driven recommendations.
Conduct ad hoc financial analyses and prepare reports requested by leadership or functional teams.
Operational Coordination
Act as a liaison between finance, operations, HR, and sales to ensure cohesive execution of business objectives.
Ensure timely processing of invoices, including those submitted through customer portals, and maintain communication with external partners.
Support improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing overall efficiency and workflow.
Manage vendor relationships and coordinate outsourced services such as facilities, IT support, and maintenance.
Payroll & Benefits Administration
Oversee accurate and compliant payroll processing.
Administer employee benefit programs, including updates and renewals.
Manage retirement plan administration and support annual audit requirements.
Facilitate workers’ compensation audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
