Must Haves
Bachelor’s degree highly preferred, open to equivalent work experience
5 years of experience as a business analyst
Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
Plusses
Prior experience working with automotive sales, product and/or incentive pricing data sources
Solid Understanding of Microeconomics
Understand relationships between Supply and Demand on Price
Understand how price and incentives impact consumer behaviors
Understand Elasticity and be able to calculate it
Summary The main function of a business analyst is to perform analysis on automotive sales, pricing, and incentives. The business analyst will be responsible for identifying data insights, developing reports, and/or presenting findings to management.
Job Responsibilities Reporting:
Provide regular reporting; Example: updates on EV tax credit changes (1–2 times per week)
Deliver standard recurring reports as needed
Data Analysis & Insights:
Collect and analyze large datasets to identify trends and actionable insights
Translate data into clear, compelling narratives for leadership decision-making
Work with large data from multiple sources
Identify trends and compile data into meaningful charts and graphs
Presentation:
Prepare and present data-driven insights to internal leadership in a concise and impactful manner
Streamline processes and drive efficiencies
Compensation Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
