Role Description This is a full‑time Accounts Payable Accountant position located on‑site in Birmingham, AL.
Responsibilities
Manage the organization’s outgoing payments by ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Verify transaction details, reconcile accounts, resolve invoice discrepancies, and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal departments.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, maintain organized and accurate records of all accounts payable transactions—including invoices and payment documentation—and prepare annual 1099 forms.
Apply strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and proficiency with accounting software.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business.
At least two years of accounting experience; experience in accounts payable preferred.
