Job Summary The Office Revolving Fund (ORF) Accounting Administrator I (Supervisor) oversees daily ORF operations, including master payroll, expense, travel, and salary advance reimbursement and recovery. The supervisor leads and trains staff, ensures timely and accurate processing, and maintains compliance with SAM, SCO Payroll Procedure Manual, FI$Cal procedures, and internal controls. The position serves as the department’s subject-matter expert on revolving fund policy, working closely with internal programs and control agencies to resolve complex issues and support efficient customer service.

The California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) is an emergency response, homeland security, and disaster recovery agency and as a result, is a dynamic and exciting place to work in a team-oriented environment. Cal OES provides training to enhance the understanding of emergency and incident management to all employees.
The Finance & Logistics Administration Directorate oversees sections managing Cal OES operations including budgeting, fiscal analysis, accounting, grants management, human resources, labor relations, staff recruitment, examinations, organization and professional development, disaster and internal logistics support. The Directorate is comprised of four sections: Administrative Services, Human Resources, Grants Management and Logistics.
In the event of an emergency, employees may be contacted and requested to report to work in the event of an emergency. This contact may be outside of your normal working hours (evenings/nights, weekends, and holidays). This service may require irregular work hours, work locations other than the official duty location, and may include duties other than those specified in your official position description. Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature (weeks to months), with little advance notice, and you may be required to relocate to emergency sites.
