Summary The Branch Administrator will provide excellent customer service and perform various administrative functions within a function area or location. The individual must be flexible, ready to assist all departments, and willing to wear many hats to help the branch achieve its goals and serve customers.
Essential Functions
Prepares correspondence, reports, meeting agenda and minutes, and presentation material.
May compose routine memoranda.
Answers and screens telephone calls, takes messages, provides information, or redirects calls as appropriate; receives and directs visitors.
Schedules and maintains calendar of appointments, meetings, and travel itineraries; coordinates related arrangements.
Opens, sorts, and distributes incoming mail; assembles correspondence for mailing.
Reconciles petty cash as necessary.
Orders office supplies and oversees machine maintenance as necessary.
Assists employees with internal HR questions (benefits and payroll) when called upon.
Assists with accounts receivable functions.
May develop queries; generates and distributes reports.
Maintains appropriate records, files, documentation, etc.
Performs duties and tasks that are varied and complex, under general supervision, requiring originality and ingenuity.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. High school degree, associate's degree from a two-year college or university; or one to two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous experience working in a fast‑paced environment, preferably in a service‑orientated industry.
Ability and desire to learn new systems and industry‑specific language.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Key required traits: organization skills, follow‑through, decision‑making ability, multi‑tasking.
Computer Skills Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
Physical Demands Regularly required to stand, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Frequently required to sit. Must frequently lift, carry, push, pull, and/or otherwise move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment Exposure to moving mechanical parts and equipment, high or precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, wet or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold or heat, risk of electrical shock, and occasional loud noise.
