General Description of the Role The Human Resources Generalist provides day‑to‑day HR administrative support to the KY facilities, ensuring compliance, policy interpretation, workforce planning, recruiting, onboarding, and off‑boarding. The role works closely with the workforce to support the dynamic people, capability, and culture agenda, and is heavily involved in employee engagement across the sites.

Key Responsibilities and Activities

Partner with functional leadership and Senior HR Members to identify organizational, talent, culture, or morale opportunities.

Serve as the first point of contact for day‑to‑day employee assistance.

Support Senior HR Leadership with the execution of global Talent Management processes (e.g., Annual Performance Review, Talent Review & Succession Planning, Development Planning).

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment law and internal policies.

Assist with employee relations issues, investigations, findings, and recommended actions.

Contribute to programs that improve the employer brand of Campari America.

Co‑facilitate custom trainings to address capability gaps for supervisors.

Respond to general benefit inquiries and resolve issues with internal and external benefits resources.

Support benefits administration, including change reporting and invoice accuracy.

Assist Benefits with LOA paperwork and maintain the LOA Tracker.

Serve as the Payroll Coordinator and support payroll administration.

Maintain and update the Workforce Planning tool data, audit records, and collaborate with stakeholders for decision‑making.

Monitor and assess facility culture and engagement, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.

Source, select, and hire qualified candidates using cost‑effective techniques.

Manage applicant flow and ensure compliance.

Draft offer letters and administer all operations offers paperwork.

Assist with background checks and general candidate management activities.

Co‑facilitate the Campari America On‑Boarding program.

Ensure new hire documents are completed accurately and retained for audit.

Coordinate with IT, Benefits, and Payroll to enroll new hires in systems and tools.

Maintain frequent on‑site presence at Danville while primarily based in Lawrenceburg.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.

Experience : Minimum 2 years in a manufacturing facility; minimum 2 years administering and coordinating departmental HR activities, including interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating, and developing employees.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :

Understanding of routine HR processes and procedures.

Proven ability to assist employees in policy interpretation and compliance.

Working knowledge of state and federal labor laws.

Experience in employee relations: investigations, performance management, disciplinary action.

Ability to communicate, influence, and partner with plant supervisors and managers.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Strong attention to detail and follow‑up.

Independent work style with sound judgment on prioritization.

Strong command of English for verbal and written communication.

Creativity and initiative to improve processes and reporting.

Ability to work effectively across multiple functions.

Project management skills.
