Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Mortgage Loan Officer, based in Beaufort, SC, with some flexibility for remote work. The Mortgage Loan Officer will guide clients through the loan process, assess creditworthiness, and connect clients to suitable mortgage products. Responsibilities include managing loan applications, collaborating with underwriting teams, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Qualifications
Proven knowledge in Mortgage Industry, Mortgage Lending, and Loan Officer practices
Experience in underwriting processes and decision-making skills
Strong Customer Service and client relationship management capabilities
Effective communication and organizational skills
Familiarity with federal and state lending regulations
Current NMLS license is required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred
