This is a hands‑on, high‑responsibility role that will work directly with leadership and have a significant impact on business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
Take
full end‑to‑end ownership
of the company’s accounting function
Perform
daily, weekly, and monthly accounting operations
in QuickBooks
Manage and oversee:
Accounts Payable (A/P)
Accounts Receivable (A/R)
Payroll processing
Expense management and reimbursements
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Prepare and deliver:
Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
(P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
Management reports and financial dashboards
Ensure
timely and accurate tax filings
(sales tax, payroll tax, corporate tax preparation support)
Lead
year‑end close
and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors
Monitor and manage
cash flow, revenue recognition, and expense controls
Develop, manage, and track:
Budgets
Forecasts
Financial projections and variance analysis
Maintain strict
compliance with US GAAP, IRS regulations, and state/federal laws
Implement and improve
internal accounting controls, policies, and procedures
Identify financial risks and provide actionable recommendations to leadership
Support
strategic decision‑making
with accurate financial insights
Oversee
software subscriptions, vendor payments, and contract financial tracking
Manage
intercompany transactions
if applicable
Assist with M&A due diligence, fundraising reporting, or board reporting if required
Ensure proper documentation of all financial processes
Act as the primary financial point of contact for auditors, banks, and tax authorities
Your Profile
7+ years of experience
in accounting, with strong experience in a Senior Accountant, Accounting Manager, or similar role
In-depth knowledge of:
US GAAP
Federal & State tax regulations
Payroll processing and compliance
Revenue recognition
Prior experience in:
High‑growth startups, SaaS, or technology companies (strong plus)
Managing
full‑cycle accounting independently
Preparing financials for
audits, investors, or board reporting
Strong experience with:
Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow modeling
Financial analysis and variance reporting
Process improvement and internal controls
CPA or equivalent certification is a
strong advantage
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage
multiple financial priorities without supervision
Strong leadership, ownership mentality, and accountability
Excellent business communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work
100% onsite in Clearwater, Florida
