Base pay range: $90,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr
A growing organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to oversee daily financial operations and support monthly and annual reporting cycles. This role serves as a key link between staff and finance leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor accounting team members.
Oversee daily general ledger activity, balance sheet integrity, and subledger workflows.
Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial schedules.
Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end close tasks.
Coordinate audit requests and prepare supporting documentation.
Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations.
Identify and implement process efficiencies.
Provide training and guidance on complex accounting matters.
Prepare financial reports and analysis for management as needed.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 1–2 years in a lead or supervisory capacity
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Solid understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and reporting
Experience with ERP/accounting systems (PeopleSoft, Avalara, or similar)
Advanced Excel skills
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities
High accuracy and ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
CPA or CMA
U.S. work authorization required; no sponsorship available.
