is growing - and we want you to be part of our journey. In this role, you will be a part of our Supply Chain Quality Team in Kongsberg Discovery. You will be responsible for incoming inspection and control of goods to ensure they meet Kongsberg Discovery requirements. In this position, you will collaborate with the company's production, procurement, and R&D departments, as well as communication with suppliers.
What you will be doing
Perform incoming inspection and control of raw materials, components, and assemblies according to specifications and key characteristics
Verify compliance with quality standards, including dimensional checks and visual inspection
Document and maintain inspection results and records
Identify and report non-conformances, and collaborate with Quality team and suppliers in root cause analysis, corrective actions and improvement initiatives
Ensure proper handling and storage of inspected materials
Contribute to process improvements in inspection methods and tools
We think you should have
Certificate of apprenticeship or relevant education in industrial mechanics, CNC, dimensional inspector, or equivalent
Competence within Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
Experience (5 years) with operating & programming CMM, as Zeiss Contura or similar, and manual measuring tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Basic understanding of materials, surface treatment and manufacturing processes
