Electronic Technician Maintenance I

for our Military Mission Support Team in Yakima, WA! The Electronics Technician Maintenance I applies basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions, performs such tasks as replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing simple electronic equipment, and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes.

What you'll get to do as an Electronic Technician Maintenance I at Senspex:

Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair various types of electronic and electrical equipment.

Apply basic technical knowledge to perform simple or routine tasks following detailed instructions.

Replace components and wiring circuits using soldering and circuit card re-work stations.

Take test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, ammeters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes.

Proficient operation of personal and network computers using Microsoft Office products.

Record work performed in a maintenance information system.

The Qualifications We Require

0 years + BA/BS degree, or 4 years + AA degree, or 6 years + no degree.

Working knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, woodworking and mechanical apparatus.

Background in basic electricity and hydraulics, military equipment, and/or wireless WAN networking procedures.

Requires the ability to operate and speak clearly over military hand-held radios and telephones.

Operate a four-wheeled drive vehicle up to one ton in off-road conditions.

Works well with others on a team and has strong communication skills and a customer-service attitude.

Current State Driver's License required; must be able to be insured through company's vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.

U.S. Citizenship required.

Other Requirements

Must be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work within the United States.

National security clearance: This position may require obtaining a U.S. DoD security clearance. Candidate must have the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance in order to work on projects/programs.

Must possess acceptable forms of identification under the REAL ID Act.

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background and drug test.
