LH Resident Associate (FT 7am-3pm)

Blue Skies of Texas Senior Living Community We are actively looking for dedicated individuals to join our healthcare team and provide high‑quality care in our Assisted Living, Dementia & Alzheimer Care, Hospice, and Skilled Nursing facilities. Responsibilities
Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL), including transferring, mobility, dressing, bathing, personal hygiene, use of mobility devices, and care of assistive devices. Assist residents with Instrumental ADL such as telephone use, housekeeping, transportation coordination, mail delivery, and personal correspondence. Assist residents with self‑administration of medications, monitor medication supplies, and document usage. Observe and promptly report changes in residents’ physical condition or cognitive/emotional status to the licensed nurse or supervisor. Conduct resident rounds and room checks, monitor environmental safety hazards, and record incidents, errors, accidents, or resident‑to‑resident events. Respond to and act in accordance with established procedures in emergency or disaster situations. Follow up with appropriate staff, residents, or other individuals regarding reported complaints, problems, and concerns. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Prior experience working with seniors (desirable). CPR, AED and First Aid certifications (preferred). Demonstrated appreciation for residents’ heritage, values, and the aging process. Collaborative teamwork skills and diplomatic communication in sensitive situations. Ability to speak, read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions in English; ability to plan and complete duties with minimal direction. Excellent customer service skills; self‑motivated, independent, and effective in dealing with assisted‑living residents, families, and staff. Benefits
