Job Description Pan‑regional Presort Services facility

performs mail sorting. The Warehouse Operations Manager will lead the team, ensuring efficient and compliant operations within a high‑volume environment.

Work hours : 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST. Salary range : $100,000 to $110,000 (actual pay will reflect skills, experience, and location). Field bonus : Eligible for a 30% annual bonus. Vacation is flexible; no fixed amount per year.

Relocation may be available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Organize and schedule production runs by assessing mail type, volumes, and staffing needs.

Lead teams across all shifts and departments; develop, retain, and evaluate leadership.

Achieve and exceed operational metrics and KPIs.

Plan and forecast staffing based on client projections and historical trends.

Ensure quality across the operating center, from receipt to final USPS presentation.

Complete required USPS and internal reports, job‑costing reports, and apply USPS postal regulations.

Maximize productivity through efficient workflow and effective sorting schemes.

Coordinate departments such as quality control, metering, hand sort, automation, and transportation.

Accompany General Manager on sales calls to address operational questions and build customer rapport.

Assist General Manager with budgeting and analysis of reports generated by the Points System.

Collaborate across the organization and cross‑functional teams to achieve results.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a production environment; mailing industry experience is mandatory.

3–5 years of supervisory experience in an operating center averaging 20 million or more mail pieces per week with a 24‑hour cycle.

Proven leadership of large, diverse teams.

Strong analytical skills; ability to turn data into operational decisions.

Understanding of USPS postal regulations and general business periodicals.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (spreadsheet and database applications).

Knowledge of statistical reporting and supervisory techniques.

Commitment to workplace safety and OSHA regulations.

Effective communication skills in English.

Flexible schedule to work weekends, holidays, or different shifts with little or no notice.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., walk, stand, stoop, or sit for extended periods of time, with or without accommodation.
