The Ferguson-Florissant School District is a community of families and neighborhoods located in suburban St. Louis, MO. Fully-accredited by the state of Missouri, the district provides an excellent comprehensive educational program for nearly 10,000 students from preschool through 12th grade. The district is comprised of seven primary schools (PreK-2), six elementary schools (3-5), two sixth grade centers, two middle schools (7-8), two high schools and one alternative school as well as a nationally-recognized early education program, the PROBE gifted education program, the award-winning Challenger Learning Center, Little Creek Nature Area, a STEAM middle school and a STEAM high school.

The Executive Director of Support Services provides strategic leadership and oversight for all Support Services departments, ensuring the effective planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs that promote student success and well-being. This role collaborates with directors, principals, cabinet members, and the Superintendent to establish policies, short- and long-term goals, and standards across student support programs, including counseling, mental health, wellness, safety, Special Education, enrollment management, and crisis response. The position also serves as a liaison with external partners, including the Special School District, and ensures compliance with federal and state regulations such as IDEA and Section 504.

260-day contract
Exempt
PSRS retirement
Salary and benefits as provided by the Board of Education - extremely competitive
Annual evaluation by the Superintendent
One year contract
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Master’s Degree in education or a related area with a doctorate preferred
5 or more years of experience as an educator in special education, counselor, social worker or related area required
3 or more years of leadership experience preferred
Demonstrated success in scheduling and coordinating system-wide programs or operational structures to support student outcomes
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES
Missouri administrative certification required
