Job Description Under the supervision of Nutrition Services Manager, on-call substitute Food Service Assistant will perform a variety of duties including assisting in the production and serving of food.

Produce and serve appropriate quantities of food items in a timely manner, assure proper quality and quantity of food prepared; prepare food as specified by menus, recipes, and production records, or as directed.

Maintain work areas and serving areas in a clean, sanitary, and safe condition; wash and clean counters and food service preparation areas; wash and store equipment.

Establish positive relations with diverse internal and external customers, including students, staff, school administration, parents, and community members.
