What You’ll Be Doing
Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient storeroom environment.
Label and store parts in a systematic and accessible manner.
Track incoming and outgoing parts, tools, and materials.
Continue implementing 5S lean organization system in storage locations.
Coordinate with maintenance technicians to ensure required parts are available for scheduled and emergency repairs.
Support maintenance planning by preparing kits or pulling parts for upcoming jobs.
Assist in updating maintenance records and work orders.
May assist with coordinating contractor services and monitoring on‑site vendor activities.
Occasional travel to pick up parts, tools, and materials.
Coordinate materials with depot managers.
Liaise with purchasing to order and expedite spare parts from vendors and suppliers.
Verify deliveries, inspect incoming parts for quality, and ensure proper documentation.
New inventory item setup and storage location defined in CMMS with QR scan‑able shelf labels.
Assist in adding and monitoring spare parts inventory and coordinating with the storeroom, assist in cycle counts and auditing.
Requisition tools, materials, and replacement parts as needed.
Ensure critical spares are available to reduce unplanned downtime.
Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, receipts, and work orders.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures.
What You’ll Need
Valid driver’s license
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical diploma preferred.
Background in supply chain, logistics, or inventory control.
Familiarity with CMMS or inventory software (e.g., SAP, Maximo, MaintainX).
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Background/knowledge of 5S practices a plus.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment (certification a plus).
Knowledge of mechanical/electrical parts is a plus.
