Business Development Manager – Service Contracts
EMCOR Services Aircond is a leading commercial and industrial HVAC service company with 87 years of experience delivering customized HVAC solutions to high‑profile organizations. We are seeking a Business Development Manager – Service Contracts based in the Huntsville, AL area who will independently sell maintenance service agreements to new and existing customers.
Location:
Huntsville, AL – travel throughout the region.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Sell maintenance service agreements to new customer prospects.
Prospect for new clients through networking, cold calling, and other means; identify key decision makers within target organizations.
Schedule face‑to‑face meetings with key decision makers and build rapport.
Conduct equipment surveys and pricing estimates using approved company software; prepare and present client proposals, presentations, or quotes.
Forecast sales targets and work to achieve sales goals while maintaining a constant funnel of sales activity and potential opportunities.
Identify opportunities for campaigns, services or distribution channels that may lead to sales opportunities.
Participate in pricing solutions and services.
Attend industry functions and professional association meetings (e.g., BOMA, IFMA, Chamber of Commerce).
Maintain weekly sales activity reports and ensure all sales data is entered into the company’s CRM system.
Meet monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals.
Qualifications
Proven consultative and strategic selling skills.
Strong negotiation abilities.
Comfortable with networking and presenting.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with cold calling prospective clients.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Strong adaptability skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Suite.
Required Experience, Certifications, and Education
Minimum of three years of self‑generated direct sales experience.
Experience in the HVAC industry preferred.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
