Distribution Warehouse Technician
Position located at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Texas – Dallas (5323 Harry Hines Blvd).
Job Summary Works under the supervision and reports to the Distribution Warehouse Supervisor.

Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid and active Texas Driver’s License.
On‑site training will be provided to operate reach trucks and other similar equipment.
Certification required within 1 year of start date.
Preferred Qualifications
One year of hospital or warehouse experience.
Job Duties
Complete and maintain all job performance requirements and standards as outlined in UT Southwestern and Department policies.
Receive medical supplies and equipment in warehouse management system and databases.
Load and unload trucks utilizing material handling equipment.
Ensure all pallets are secure and stable for transportation and handling.
Prepare, pick and stage orders for delivery to customers.
Conduct putaway function ensuring items are properly organized and stored in designated locations.
Perform inventory functions including cycle counts as directed.
Operate reach truck, order selector, and pallet jacks (electric/manual).
Pick up and deliver medical supplies and equipment to/from UT Southwestern hospitals and clinics.
Utilize passenger van, cargo van, and 26‑box truck to deliver supplies and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness of warehouse, including removing boxes/packing materials and sweeping.
Comply with all OSHA and safety requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
