We are supporting an IT Project Manager opportunity responsible for leading multiple technology initiatives of varying size and complexity. This role focuses on full-lifecycle project delivery, cross-functional coordination, and adherence to established PMO standards. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can manage scope, risk, vendors, and stakeholders—not just task execution.
This position is primarily remote, with occasional on-site meetings at the Commission’s headquarters as required.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate the activities of internal and external resources across multiple IT projects
Lead projects through the full project lifecycle: initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & controlling, and closeout
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and artifacts using PTC PMO standards, templates, and methodologies
Partner with business owners and analysts to define, refine, and manage project scope
Track and manage integration points, timelines, costs, risks, communications, and vendor performance
Facilitate lessons learned sessions during and after project completion to drive continuous improvement
Build and maintain strong working relationships with technology teams, business stakeholders, project sponsors, vendors, and clients
Ensure adherence to the PTC PMO Playbook and governance requirements
Required Qualifications
5+ years of hands‑on project management experience across projects of varying size and complexity
Demonstrated experience managing Scope, Schedule, Cost, Risk, Stakeholder communication
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to think strategically while executing tactically
Proven experience working within structured PMO environments
Preferred / Desired Skills
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
ServiceNow experience, particularly within Idea Management, Project Management, Demand Management
Experience supporting enterprise business solutions, including SAP-related projects
Familiarity with ITIL / ITSM practices and methodologies
