Civil litigation defense regional law firm seeks a junior to mid level Legal Assistant/Secretary for its energy corridor/Houston located office. Hybrid.

Key Responsibilities
Document management systems experience
E‑Filing and filing
Support attorneys and paralegal case preparation
Adapt to firm processes, with training by veteran paralegal and partner
Qualifications
2‑5 years of experience
IT savvy, communicative with strong customer service skills
Drama‑free, team player seeking a collaborative, friendly office
Available for litigation experience growth and willingness to adapt
Employment Details
Full‑time, non‑exempt
Hybrid work arrangement
Base pay range $65,000–$80,000 per year
Annual bonus potential
Little overtime (paid at 1.5×) is expected but rarely. The firm offers a family‑friendly environment with lunch opportunities, socially fun events, and robust benefits including medical, vision, 401(k), paid paternity and maternity leave, and disability insurance.
Very easy in and out of the office; firm often provides lunches and social events for the team.
