Project Manager/Detailer - CIP
Position Snapshot: Works primarily to complete detailed models of concrete reinforcing products, including production data. AutoCAD is the primary detailing software; the use of other design software may be necessary. This role will also involve learning other software tools to communicate with our operating software systems.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Develop detailed construction and manufacturing drawings.
Work with team members to design, layout, or detail components and structural systems.
Troubleshoot and modify drawings as needed.
Perform rebar to engineered structural mesh (ESM) conversions and shop drawings through use of Tekla and other software.
Provide professional conversions using AutoCAD, spreadsheets, engineering calculations, and typed correspondence.
Provide takeoff and shop drawing preparation services.
Assist with Project Manager responsibilities as needed.
Other duties may be assigned.

Education And Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering and broad knowledge of general Civil Engineering including CAD.
Experience in Revit or other BIM applications.
Understanding of concrete reinforcing systems.
General understanding of basic building systems.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proven capabilities as a detailer.
