$58,000 - $85,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Source, evaluate, and select suppliers for raw materials and components.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
Generate and manage purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality or delivery.
Collaborate with production and planning to optimize inventory levels.
Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities without compromising quality.
Research market trends and new technologies to inform purchasing strategies.
Recommended Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated negotiation skills with a proven track record of cost reduction and favorable terms.
Proficiency in supplier relationship management, including sourcing, evaluation, and performance monitoring.
Experience with MRP/ERP systems for demand planning, purchase order management, and inventory control.
Ability to interpret technical specifications, blueprints, or engineering drawings for manufacturing components.
Bonus Qualifications
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification/experience
Proficiency with advanced data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL)
Experience with international sourcing and logistics
Professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CPIM, CSCP)
