The Senior Change Manager is a strategic "change architect" responsible for bridging the gap between technical deployments and human adoption. This role focuses on the high-level design of communication and training strategies, ensuring that the client's technology investments (such as ERP transitions and data integrity initiatives) are embraced by the workforce through organic commitment rather than forced compliance.
Responsibilities
Perform deep stakeholder analysis to understand the impact of technical changes; craft tailored, timely messaging that resonates across different levels of the organization.
Apply a formal change management framework (e.g., ADKAR, Kotter) to technology rollouts, specifically adapting the approach to fit the clients Values-Based Leadership (VBL) culture.
Define the "how" of learning for the long-term ERP roadmap; determine the best mix of infographics, video, and hands-on training without being the primary content creator.
Shift the needle from "compliance" (doing it because they have to) to "commitment" (doing it because they understand the value).
Light Project Management (30%): Manage timelines, milestones, and deliverables related to the enablement workstream to ensure they align with broader IT project schedules.
Educate the workforce on the importance of "clean data," helping employees understand their role in the broader digital ecosystem.
Must-haves
7-10+ years of experience in organizational change management (OCM), with at least 70% of your career focus on the people side of change.
Exceptional ability to perform stakeholder mapping and deliver multi-channel communication plans.
Proven experience using an established change management framework to drive technology adoption.
Ability to demonstrate an influence-based leadership style (commitment-focused) rather than a directive-based style (compliance-focused).
Experience determining training modalities and designing educational approaches for large-scale enterprise systems (ERP).
Nice-to-haves
Experience managing project workstreams using standard PM tools and methodologies (30% of the role).
Prior experience specifically leading the "people" side of a major ERP migration or data governance project.
