Leash - Driving Pets Daily
About the Role
This role will report directly to the CEO and work closely with our developers, regional business development team, and national partners. It combines operations oversight with marketing and CRM ownership to ensure smooth ride fulfillment, partner co-marketing execution, and scalable automations of systems across markets.
The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a startup environment, is obsessed with clean processes and customer experience, and is equally comfortable talking to clients, partner staff, or contracted professional service providers. This role is expected to evolve significantly in the next 12 months—from execution-heavy to more strategic and systems-driven.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations across all markets, ensuring bookings are matched and fulfilled reliably via the Leash platform; troubleshoot issues and maintain service quality.
Manage the full driver lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, performance oversight, and weekly payouts to support a strong and scalable driver network.
Support market launches and active regions by coordinating logistics and serving as the operational point of contact for drivers and partner staff.
Act as the primary marketing lead for partner businesses and managing execution of local campaigns.
Plan and coordinate marketing efforts for new market launches, including campaign rollout, digital ads, and localized promotions in collaboration with partners and agency teams.
Own and optimize CRM and lifecycle marketing, including segmentation, workflow automation, performance tracking, and ongoing improvements to engagement and retention.
Identify operational inefficiencies and lead platform improvements in collaboration with the CEO and development team, with a focus on automation and long‑term scalability.
What You Bring
3–5 years of experience in operations, marketing, project management, or growth roles—ideally in a startup or fast‑paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills and follow‑through—you thrive on clarity, live by checklists, and keep moving pieces on track.
A clear, thoughtful communicator who’s comfortable working with pet owners, drivers, agency partners, and business stakeholders.
Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms like HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Asana, Google Docs, ChatGPT—and/or excited to dive in.
A calm, solutions‑first mindset when things change unexpectedly, with a drive to improve systems rather than just follow them.
A collaborative spirit—you genuinely want to help the team succeed and enjoy the process along the way.
Passion for creating greater accessibility to pet care services for pets and their parents.
Compensation $59k–$71k base, commensurate with experience, plus bonus and equity.
