SNI Financial has partnered with a publicly traded media entertainment company looking to add a Senior SEC Reporting Analyst to our growing finance team. The Role As a Senior SEC Reporting Analyst, you’ll play a key role in the preparation of external financial reports in accordance with US GAAP and SEC requirements, while supporting complex accounting areas such as ASC 842 lease accounting and consolidations.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare SEC filings (10‑K, 10‑Q, earnings releases), including supporting documentation
Prepare quarterly financial statements and cash flow schedules
Lead coordination with internal departments to gather financial data
Perform monthly consolidations and selected journal entries/reconciliations
Maintain ASC 842 lease accounting schedules and reconcile to the general ledger
Coordinate and review XBRL filings
Support technical accounting research (new standards, non‑routine transactions)
Assist with external auditor requests
Identify opportunities to streamline and automate reporting processes
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of public accounting experience, including SEC clients
CPA preferred (or active CPA candidate)
Strong experience with SEC reporting and US GAAP
Exposure to ASC 842 lease accounting is a plus
Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset
Self‑starter who thrives in a deadline‑driven environment
ActiveDisclosure or similar SEC reporting tools
