Base pay range
$15.00/hr - $17.50/hr
Responsibilities
Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Register sales on assigned cash register, providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience.
Model and share customer service best practices with all team members.
Recommend items for sale, including trade‑up and/or companion items.
Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed.
Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. Check in and price merchandise as required or directed by the store manager or shift leader.
Implement company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss.
Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products).
Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions as directed.
Assist with separation of food items (raw and pre‑cooked) and product placement per policies, and use FIFO for stock rotation.
Maintain working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
Provide customer service in the photo area: digital passport photo, poster print, creative machine, and suggestive sell of promotional photo products.
Assume web pick‑up responsibilities: monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, pick items, and deliver orders to customers as they arrive at the store.
Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance.
Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Training & Personal Development
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the Manager or assigned by corporate.
Basic Qualifications
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
Prefer fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
