Eaton’s IS AER FED division is currently seeking a Production Scheduler. This position is located at our Bethel, CT facility.

Senior level: Entry level Employment type: Full‑time

Expected annual salary: $68,000 – $99,000. This figure is a general guideline; actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, qualifications and market conditions.

What You’ll Do

Adhere to and align with the Master Production Schedule.

Re‑sequence/re‑route production orders when capacity is constrained to minimize deviations from the MPS.

Escalate execution issues to Network Schedulers when resolution time is insufficient to meet the MPS.

Manage shop floor scheduling; level load work orders based on cell capacity.

Ensure the plant always has work and communicate with operations if not.

Direct daily workflow (WIP) through analysis of reports and input from cross‑functional teams.

Align and prioritize resources, both internal and shared, across the factory to maximize efficiency and material flow to meet customer on‑time delivery.

Expedite orders for customers where possible; coordinate shortages with buyers and update customer service.

Ensure work orders for your area are current, not past due, and not in pick status for extended periods.

Support minimizing past‑due sales dollars, monitor and resolve quality issues, and drive customer on‑time delivery.

Support High Performance Work Teams and adapt to varied work environments.

Support plant continuous improvement.

Prepare reports and correspondence for use by Eaton SCM professionals.

Communicate with cross‑functional teams including Customer Service, Engineering, Quality, Operations and Purchasing.

Assist in developing and implementing procedures and techniques to improve the scheduling function.

Ensure compliance with applicable contract flow down (FAR, DFAR, ITAR, etc.).

Required (Basic) Qualifications

High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

Minimum of one (1) year experience in supply chain or operations.

Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship, now or in the future.

Access to export‑controlled information requires the applicant to be a U.S. person (citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee).

No relocation benefit is offered; candidates must reside within a 60‑mile radius of Bethel, CT (active‑Duty military service members exempt).

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

Minimum of three (3) years experience in a manufacturing or supply‑chain environment.

Experience with MFGPro and/or SAP.

Skills

Knowledge of industry, complex machined materials management, lean manufacturing, MRP/ERP, and MFG Pro.

Proficient in computer systems and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization.

Ability to work collaboratively and take decisive action to achieve results.

Strong analytical skills to identify and implement improvement opportunities with measurable impact.

Change‑management skills.
