19-A Compliance Supervisor Hiring immediately for this full‑time position in Garden City, NY. Pay: $82,000 to $85,000 per year.

Overview The 19‑A & Compliance Supervisor provides administrative support to the 19‑A Risk and Compliance Departments for the Transdev Services Inc. Nassau County contract. The role reports to the 19‑A Manager within the Security, Risk and Compliance Department and receives direction from the Director of Security, Risk and Compliance.

Responsibilities

Has specific knowledge and expertise in 19‑A matters.

Creates 19‑A files for new operators and maintenance staff and assists in maintaining and updating all files as necessary.

Schedules, directs, and assists as needed with maintaining annual and biennial operator requirements, and documentation defined in Article 19‑A.

Assists in managing a variety of confidential records and files for the purpose of ensuring documentation for future reference in accordance with administrative and legal requirements.

Reviews all related accident and incident files; coordinates with the Safety, Transportation and Maintenance department concerning the event handling and documentation.

Maintains all documentation pertaining to Accidents, Incidents and Injuries and checks documentation for accuracy and completeness.

Works with the Director of Security, Risk and Compliance to ensure all data associated with liability claims and Workers’ Compensation is up to date.

Ensures WebRisk is up to date and correct at all times.

Assists in preparing monthly reports for the Nassau management team and corporate office.

Performs special projects and other duties as required.

Performs related work as required and other tasks as assigned.

Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records for all drivers.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED; working knowledge of federal and state laws and regulations pertaining to safety compliance, 19‑A compliance, and OSHA.

Minimum three years supervisory experience.

Hold current 19‑A certified examiner credentials.

Must possess proven communications/employee relations skills.

Working knowledge of 19‑A compliance programs (Spreadsheets, Webrisk, License Monitor, etc) to ensure company compliance.

Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and follow multiple instructions simultaneously.

Must be detail oriented.

Understand the need for confidentiality at all times.

Possess a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

Valid Class B CDL, w/ passenger endorsement. An excellent motor vehicle record must be maintained.

Physical Demands 95% of work is accomplished indoors in an air‑conditioned or well‑ventilated office or cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer. 5% of work is accomplished outside or in a vehicle. The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, standing, typing, or looking at a computer screen. Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
