Global Signage & Wayfinding Designer Program Manager, Workplace Design & Construction (WD&C) The Global Design team is looking for a creative, innovative, results‑oriented designer with experience leading the design of Signage and Wayfinding systems for corporate workplace. This role will be based in Arlington, VA, and will be responsible for supporting the Global Design Team, reporting to the Senior Manager, Global Design. The role will support design teams across three global regions (AMER, EMEA and APAC) and work closely with the Design & Construction (D&C) team, the Workplace Guidelines & Standards team and the Regional Portfolio Managers (RPM).

This role will manage, update and evolve the Signage and Wayfinding Design System for Corporate Workplace, including the development of new elements as needed to ensure standardization. The Designer will leverage the system and evolve it for regional or new requirements while ensuring high‑quality deliverables and on‑time delivery. Over time, the Designer will gain familiarity with Amazon’s global corporate workplace portfolio to ensure that elements of the signage and wayfinding system are applicable regionally. The role will also collaborate with the Workplace Guidelines & Standards team and the Design & Construction Delivery teams but is not responsible for updating the guidelines or delivering final signage elements.

The candidate will communicate clearly at all levels, dive into details, and design certain elements independently if required. The work environment is fast‑paced and ambiguous, and the role involves multiple projects with tight delivery timelines. Attention to detail and the ability to inspect issues and processes, bringing simplified solutions to complex problems is paramount. The candidate must balance frugality with creativity and approach problem‑solving with an emphasis on root cause.

Travel may be required approximately 10% of the time.
