As a Prepared Foods and Café Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates who create and serve meals to our members - giving them more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in Prepared Foods and Café and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations. Responsibilities

Be a Team Leader: Supervise the team within all prepared foods departments, facilitate rotations, manage member needs, communicate department goals, execute company programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for the member, associate, and company. Be an Expert: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of business on the floor and backroom operations, ensuring the prepared foods area meets company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety, and compliance. Manage Seasonality: Understand new products, recipes, processes, and production specifications; prioritize time between areas. Collaborate: Work with associates and third parties, ensuring resources are available, sharing knowledge, and training the team. Leverage Technology: Use digital tools and handheld technology to plan for and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and enhance associate engagement. Drive Business Results: Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area, ensure appropriate staffing levels, accurate audit and compliance standards, and produce and display merchandise according to layout plans. Be a Talent Ambassador: Teach and train the team, identify training needs, develop skills, encourage career growth, and source new talent internally and externally. Develop Processes: Communicate and implement processes to meet business needs, analyze information, monitor progress, and identify improvement opportunities. Ensure Compliance: Promote and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, utilize the Open Door Policy, and assist management with correction of issues. Lead Teams: Use resources, information, and tools to determine customer needs, coordinate work assignments, provide feedback, and help others adapt to change. 6 months experience in a fresh production department or 6 months experience supervising a team. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications

Supervising a team. Food Handler Certification (Food Safety). Compensation and Benefits

Base pay range: $23.00/hr - $31.00/hr (actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location). Additional compensation: premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Health benefits: medical, vision, and dental coverage.
