About the Role : We are seeking a Global Payroll Specialist to join a fast‑growing software organization. With a collaborative, roll‑up‑your‑sleeves culture, this role offers the opportunity to make an impact in a dynamic environment where adaptability and strong communication are key.
Job Description : As a Global Payroll Specialist, you will ensure accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple countries, including compliance with local tax laws and labor regulations. You will work closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors to maintain data integrity, support audits, and drive process improvements. This role is critical for supporting a global workforce and requires strong attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities across time zones.
Key Responsibilities
Process and audit payroll for multiple regions (US, UK, and India) in compliance with local regulations.
Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure data integrity within HRIS systems.
Collaborate with Finance and HR teams to reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Liaise with external vendors and internal stakeholders for efficient payroll operations.
Prepare payroll reports, journals, and dashboards for compliance and internal use.
Monitor changes in international tax and labor laws and recommend compliance adjustments.
Support audits (internal, SOX, statutory) with documentation and responses.
Assist with payroll system improvements and global process enhancements.
Respond to employee payroll inquiries promptly and professionally.
Qualifications Required
3+ years of payroll experience, including global payroll exposure.
Proficiency with Workday or similar HRIS systems.
Understanding of payroll compliance in the US and either the UK or India (or similar global countries).
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills and comfort working across cultures and time zones.
Preferred
CPP, FPC, or similar payroll certification.
Experience with payroll transformation projects or system migrations.
