We are seeking a Senior Collibra Data Governance and Lineage Specialist. In this role, you will design, implement, and maintain data governance frameworks using Collibra, focusing on data lineage, quality, and workflow automation. You will collaborate with Data Stewards, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure robust data governance solutions in an entrepreneurial culture where teamwork is encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is valued.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business, analytics, and technology stakeholders to design and implement data governance policies, data lineage frameworks, and quality assurance processes
Participate in the full lifecycle of Collibra implementation, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance
Develop and maintain data lineage using Collibra Lineage Harvester Edge Connector to ensure accurate tracking of data flows across systems
Design, develop, and optimize workflows in Collibra to automate governance processes, such as data stewardship approvals and issue resolution
Define and document data governance requirements, including metadata management, data quality rules, and compliance standards for regulatory frameworks (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
Conduct quality assurance to validate data lineage and governance processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Provide technical documentation and training to stakeholders, translating complex governance concepts for diverse audiences
Required Qualifications
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Overland Park, KS, Raleigh NC, Brentwood TN, Hartford CT, Phoenix AZ, Tempe, AZ, Dallas, TX, Richardson TX, Indianapolis, IN, or Atlanta, GA or be willing to relocate to the area
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education

At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
Strong experience in Collibra Data Governance and Data Lineage
Strong experience with Collibra Lineage Harvester and Collibra Edge Connector
Strong experience in workflow development within Collibra
Preferred Certifications
Collibra Ranger / Collibra Expert
Strong knowledge of data governance principles, metadata management, and regulatory compliance
CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional)
CIPP/US (Privacy Professional)
TOGAF
Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
