In order to ensure your application is complete, you must complete the following:## Job Title:Digital Accessibility Sr. Analyst## Department:Student Life | Technical Services AdministrationThe Digital Accessibility Sr. Analyst will serve as the Student Life Digital Accessibility advisor, promotes digital accessibility in Student Life and supports efforts to comply with the university digital accessibility policy. Manages staff training plans and carries out events and communications to raise awareness of accessibility in Student Life. Offers training opportunities to create accessible documents and best practices in accessible design and coding. Supports staff to make their digital content accessible. Ensures that live events for students, staff, and the public use digital accessibility best practices and follow the university policy. Responds to digital accessibility complaints and requests in the time referenced in the university policy.Consults with units in Student Life to evaluate products. Ensures new software and websites are evaluated and necessary accommodations and/or remediation are negotiated prior to purchase or before launch. Ensures that existing software and websites are evaluated in a timely manner and based on risk, and that proper accommodations and/or remediation efforts are planned and implemented. Ensures an appropriate audit trail is maintained for all evaluations and accommodation/remediation efforts are tracked and reported. Works with other units on campus to share information about software purchases and accessibility updates on existing software.Performs yearly audits to make sure faculty and staff have taken needed policy awareness and skills training. Maintain an inventory of digital products and perform audits to verify the necessary products are checked for accessibility. Stays up to date on accessibility requirements and best practices.## Additional Information:**Qualifications**Required:* Bachelor’s degree in relevant field* Minimum 4 years relevant experience creating and implementing new processes in an information technology (IT) organization.* Experience training users to use software.
