The Electronic Warfare Division has an opening for an experienced Hypersonic Systems Engineer.
Leidos is seeking senior engineers with a Hypersonics Aerospace background to lead Systems development and Modeling and Simulation (M&S) efforts in the DC Metro Area. This role involves integrating multiple design concepts, defining analysis and test roadmaps, and validating hypersonic systems against system-level requirements. You will mentor junior engineers, provide guidance on methodologies and resources, and support business development activities that align designs with customer needs.
Candidates should have prior experience with hypersonic boost glide or air-breathing systems, articulate the technical challenges of high-speed flight system design, and possess expertise across aerodynamics, aerothermal, materials, thermal, structural, loads & dynamics, or related areas. Experience in defining and integrating multi-domain analyses, deriving requirements, and performing verification and validation of test results through the systems engineering process is essential.
Clearance Must be a U.S. Citizen. Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret preferred.
