What You'll Do

Design cloud network architecture: Develop network designs that meet the requirements of cloud-based applications and services, considering scalability, high availability, and security.

Implement network configurations: Deploy and configure virtual networks, subnets, VPNs, and other networking components within cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

Manage network security: Implement security measures such as firewalls, access controls, encryption, and intrusion detection/prevention systems to protect cloud-based resources from unauthorized access and cyber threats.

Monitor and optimize network performance: Monitor network traffic, latency, and bandwidth usage to identify and address performance bottlenecks and optimize network efficiency.

Troubleshoot network issues: Investigate and resolve network-related problems, such as connectivity issues, packet loss, and performance degradation in collaboration with internal and external IT teams and cloud service providers. Assist with Service Level Agreements (SLA) records and responses.

Automate network tasks: Leverage automation tools and scripts to streamline network provisioning, configuration management, and troubleshooting processes, enhancing operational efficiency and reducing manual effort. Provide technical support to internal and external IT teams and end-users with network-related inquiries, issues, and escalations, and guide best practices for using cloud networking services effectively.

What You'll Bring

A strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, with hands‑on experience on cloud platforms and networking services. Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment. Expected certifications include Cisco CCNA, CompTIA Network+, Juniper JNCIA, or equivalent.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining network infrastructure: Diagnose and resolve connectivity issues, configuration errors, and hardware failures; perform routine maintenance tasks such as software updates, patches, and backups to ensure reliability and security.

Interaction with Customer IT teams to establish secure communication for cloud workloads, coordinating across geographies to deploy and support cloud resources.

Collaboration with system administrators, security analysts, and software developers to integrate network infrastructure with other systems and applications, communicating with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical guidance.
