Job Description: The Cloud Network Support Engineer will be responsible for providing operational support and performing minor enhancements for cloud networking environments built on
Aviatrix . This role will focus on day‑to‑day support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and configuration updates across multi‑cloud environments while ensuring network stability, security, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide
L2/L3 operational support
for Aviatrix-based cloud networking solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP environments.
Monitor network health, traffic flows, and connectivity issues using Aviatrix Controller and CoPilot.
Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents related to routing, connectivity, VPNs, transit gateways, and segmentation.
Perform
minor enhancements and configuration changes , including route updates, policy adjustments, and connectivity optimizations.
Support implementation of
security controls , segmentation policies, and encrypted traffic flows.
Collaborate with cloud, security, and application teams to resolve cross‑domain issues.
Execute change requests following established change management and governance processes.
Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures related to Aviatrix configurations.
Support compliance, audit, and security requirements through proper logging and access controls.
Required Skills & Experience
Hands‑on experience supporting
Aviatrix
in production cloud environments.
Strong understanding of
cloud networking concepts
(VPC/VNet, routing, gateways, VPN, subnets, CIDR).
Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Working knowledge of network security principles (firewalls, segmentation, encryption).
Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues effectively.
Familiarity with ITSM processes (incident, problem, and change management).
