Alpha School directs an AI‑powered literacy program that delivers breakthrough learning gains in two hours, exceeding what conventional schools accomplish in an entire day. The role merges direct student instruction with innovative program design, allowing you to shape individual reading journeys while constructing a framework that extends core literacy instruction across multiple school sites. What You Will Be Doing
Facilitating adaptive reading workshops focused on building core competencies in phonics, fluency, and comprehension. Creating individualized motivational experiences that resonate with students and foster enduring enthusiasm for reading. Evaluating student performance metrics to iteratively improve methods and identify meaningful trends. Working alongside technical staff to assess and refine AI‑based literacy platforms. Basic Requirements
Bachelor's degree with specialized certification in reading pedagogy (e.g., Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent). Minimum 2 years of experience conducting small‑group reading interventions with early elementary students. Capable of evaluating reading proficiency, organizing student groups, and creating differentiated learning plans independently of pre‑packaged curricula. Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and able to adjust instruction based on student interactions within these systems. Legal authorization to the.S. without sponsorship.
