A busy boutique Family Law firm in South Miami is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis, with an immediate start available.
The ideal candidate is an energetic, personable attorney with
1–3+ years of Family Law litigation experience , who is passionate about guiding clients through sensitive domestic matters. Candidates should be able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Responsibilities:
Advise clients on domestic issues, legal rights, and obligations
Prepare case materials for mediation and litigation, including pleadings and discovery
Gather evidence through client and witness interviews
Negotiate settlements in a variety of domestic matters
Draft legal documents, including prenuptial and postnuptial agreements
Represent clients in court proceedings and mediation
Research statutes, rulings, and case law to develop case strategies
Analyze legal issues and craft effective litigation approaches
Qualifications:
Must be a member in good standing with the Florida Bar
Prior Family Law experience required
Florida Board Certification in Family Law is a plus
