This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in healthcare analytics to improve patient outcomes, optimize practice performance, and contribute to a future of value-driven healthcare.## Job DescriptionThe Senior Technical Analytics Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting ACOs through data analysis, performance tracking, and strategic insights. As a key member of our VBC Analytics team, you will serve as a subject matter expert in value-based care metrics and analytics solutions, providing actionable insights to enhance ACO performance. Your work will help shape data-driven strategies, inform compliance with healthcare regulations, and foster continuous improvement within our partner organizations.## Key Responsibilities* **Performance Monitoring and Reporting:** Track ACO performance on MSSP program KPIs, such as total cost of care, PMPM, and admissions rates. Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate goals, progress, and areas for improvement.* **Data Analysis and Insights:** Perform detailed analyses of healthcare data, integrating claims, electronic medical records (EMR), and healthcare coding (CPT, HCPCS, diagnosis codes). Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for leadership and stakeholders.* **Development of Analytics Solutions:** Design and implement innovative analytics models and tools that support ACO performance enhancement, risk adjustment, and demographic scoring.* **Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance:** Stay current with MSSP regulations, HIPAA requirements, and healthcare data standards to ensure that analytics practices align with legal and ethical standards.* **Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:** Collaborate effectively with clinical, financial, and operational teams. Present complex findings in a clear and compelling manner tailored to diverse audiences.* **Ad-Hoc & Strategic Analyses:** Conduct special projects and ad-hoc analyses to address emerging challenges, support business decision-making, and improve care models.* **Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:** Work closely with data engineers, clinical teams, and external partners to develop scalable analytics solutions and optimize data workflows.## Qualifications & Requirements* **Educational Background:** Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Data Science, Statistics, or related field, Master's degree preferred.* **Experience:** Minimum of 5 years experience in healthcare analytics, with a focus on value-based care and ACO performance measures.* **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in healthcare data systems, claims data, EMRs, and healthcare coding standards (CPT, HCPCS, Diagnosis).
