Overview Dealmed is a fast-growing, tech-driven medical distributor serving healthcare facilities nationwide. We are seeking a highly reliable, hands‑on Fulfillment Manager (2nd Shift) to lead all outbound fulfillment activities during the afternoon and evening shift.

This role is responsible for supervising pickers and packers, ensuring orders are picked, packed, loaded, and shipped accurately, safely, and on time. The Fulfillment Manager will also assist with truck loading, last‑mile preparation, and supporting inbound activities as needed. This is a working manager role that requires leadership, flexibility, and the ability to jump into any warehouse function when required.

Key Responsibilities Outbound Fulfillment & Shipping

Oversee all outbound fulfillment operations during the 2nd shift, including picking, packing, staging, and shipping.

Ensure orders are packed professionally, accurately, and in the most cost‑effective manner.

Load and unload delivery trucks and ensure proper securing of freight.

Assist with preparing deliveries for next‑day routes and late same‑day shipments.

Monitor shipping cutoffs and ensure all outbound orders leave on time.

Supervision

Lead and supervise fulfillment staff on the 2nd shift.

Provide hands‑on training to reduce mispicks, damages, and packing errors.

Enforce SOPs, safety procedures, and quality standards.

Maintain productivity while managing labor hours and minimizing overtime.

Step in and perform any warehouse role when needed.

Technology & Systems

Use company software and WMS tools to manage picking, packing, shipping, and order status.

Ensure staff follows all scanning, packing, and shipping workflows correctly.

Communicate issues, delays, or system discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager promptly.

Logistics & Delivery Support

Assist with loading delivery vehicles for NYC/Philly/NJ and surrounding areas.

Support route preparation and logistics coordination as needed.

Apply working knowledge of NYC five boroughs to ensure efficient loading and delivery flow.

Warehouse Support & Cleanliness

Assist with receiving inbound shipments when needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe outbound and loading area.

Ensure packing supplies, labels, and materials are stocked and available.

Follow OSHA and company safety standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

Prior Supervisor or Lead experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.

Forklift certification (required).

Clean driver’s license.

Proven experience in a distribution warehouse.

Past delivery driving and/or logistics experience.

Strong working knowledge of New York City five boroughs.

Experience with loading and unloading trucks and vans.

Hands‑on experience with picking, packing, and shipping operations.

Above‑average computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and ERP systems such as NetSuite.

Ability to multitask and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
