$16.00 - $18.00 Per Hour Schedule:
Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote

We are currently seeking a
Program Assistant
to support our
Community Action Team (CAT) . This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, service-oriented, and passionate about making a difference in mental and behavioral health services.

About the Role: Program Assistant – CAT Team As a
CAT Program Assistant , you will play a critical role in the day-to-day non-clinical operations of the program. You’ll serve as a key point of contact for youth, families, staff, and community partners while supporting administrative, reporting, and coordination functions that keep the program running smoothly.
This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work
three days per week , with the flexibility to work remotely
two days per week .

Key Responsibilities Administrative & Program Support
Monitor monthly on-call schedules and assist with staff scheduling as needed
Maintain and review program budgets with the Team Leader
Order and manage office supplies, equipment, cell phones, furniture, and repairs
Record program admissions and discharges per agency procedures
Complete and submit monthly reports as requested
Charting, Data & Compliance
Set up and maintain participant charts in accordance with CAT contracts and regulatory standards
Monitor clinical charts for compliance and accuracy
Provide guidance and in-service training to staff on documentation requirements
Manage databases and coordinate with IT and software vendors
Maintain and update program policies and procedures manuals
Front Office & Communication
Greet visitors and manage front-desk operations
Answer and triage phone calls with professionalism and compassion
Coordinate communication between families, youth, staff, and community agencies
Assist families and partners with questions, referrals, and urgent needs
Determine when and how quickly to escalation concerns to clinical staff
Additional Responsibilities
Assist nursing staff with medication ordering in compliance with state regulations
Utilize HRIS systems for payroll and evaluations
Maintain all required annual trainings and background clearances
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum 1 year of Program Assistant or administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or behavioral health setting
Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations
Compassionate, professional demeanor when working with individuals experiencing mental health or substance-related challenges
Preferred (Not Required)
Spanish-speaking (bilingual)
