You will be the Proposal Analyst Associate for the Cost Estimating Team. Our team is responsible for delivering accurate cost projections that empower our customers and partners to make informed decisions. What You Will Be Doing

As the Proposal Analyst Associate you will be responsible for translating request‑for‑proposal (RFP) data into precise labor and material cost estimates that drive successful contract outcomes. Your Responsibilities

Estimate labor and material costs for manufacturing products based on RFP specifications. Analyze sketches, blueprints, bills of material, and sample layouts to determine production requirements. Collect cost data from functional representatives, subcontractors, and vendors. Compute cost estimates for raw material and subcontracted work. Prepare and present cost reports to management, contracts personnel, customers, and price auditors. Why Join Us

Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Operations or Supply Chain Management or related discipline is desired. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Good communication skills (verbal and written). Experience in Procure to Pay (P2P) Materials Cost Estimating (MCE) system. Experience in Materials Cost Estimating proposal process and procedures. Desired Skills

Experience in Materials Cost Estimating (MCE). Experience with Request for Proposals (RFP), FAR, DOD environment or material estimating. Familiar with the production process, Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), SAP Procure to Pay (P2P), and Electronic Financial System (EFS). Ability to function with a variety of inputs. Ability to analyze an MCE BOM for estimating purposes. Ability to read MESOW's to determine direct material proposal requirement. Clearance Level

Ability to Work Remotely: Part‑time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
