Location : This is a hybrid position with required onsite days, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday assigned to the Parnall Office located in Jackson, MI. The selected candidate must be within a commutable distance or willing to relocate (relocation package is available for those that qualify).

General Summary of Job Responsibilities The Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) Project Manager is responsible for small to medium technical projects and supports more complex projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. The incumbent is responsible for planning, implementing, quality control, engineering safety, status reporting and closing on assigned projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Experience working on natural gas infrastructure projects

Experience utilizing Unifier PMIS for managing and tracking project management documentation during the project lifecycle

Experience using Bentley ProjectWise for filing and searching for Gas T&D project recordsIdentify and recommend new processes, techniques and standards that drive performance and process improvement as well as problem solving on existing projects for process improvements

Communicate and negotiate with stakeholders, both internal and external and outside agencies

Develop and manage overall project execution plans and metric tracking for assigned projects

Develop project schedules with Project Scheduling group utilizing the schedule tool to include schedule concepts, constraints, integrate risks and risk mitigations, items in appropriate level of detail, track schedule process. Communicate schedule to project team

Identify and manage risks, issues and constraints impacting project execution. Develop contingency plans and mitigation strategies

Identify and recommend new processes, techniques and standards that drive performance and process improvement as well as problem solving on existing projects for process improvements

Other duties as assigned or may be necessary

Plan and execute the Project Lifecycle Process (PLP) which includes preparation of plans, schedule planning and other standardized project management deliverables, while meeting the agreed upon scope, cost, schedule and engineering quality objectives

Prepare financial forecasts and provide on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures

Other duties as assigned or may be necessary

Critical Thinking: decision-making, strategic thinking, trade-offs analysis, engineering or technical acumen, business acumen

Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources

Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the production and delivery of energy Broad Knowledge

Skilled in conflict management

Skilled in full scope of project management and related actions

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Applied Engineering or equivalent, with 2 years of applied engineering or equivalent working experience; project management experience working in accordance with Project Lifecycle Processes (PLP) framework

Associate's Degree in Applied Engineering or equivalent, with 4 years of applied engineering or equivalent working experience; project management experience working in accordance with Project Lifecycle Processes (PLP) framework

High School Diploma with 6 years of applied engineering or equivalent working experience; project management experience working in accordance with Project Lifecycle Processes (PLP) framework
