Position Overview: FlyUSA is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Aviation Parts Specialist to support our growing maintenance and flight operations team. In this critical role, you’ll ensure the efficient sourcing, ordering, and tracking of aircraft parts and materials across our fleet. Your work will directly impact our ability to keep aircraft mission‑ready while upholding safety, compliance, and cost‑efficiency.
Responsibilities:
Source and procure aviation parts, tools, and consumables for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
Manage vendor relationships, compare pricing, and ensure timely delivery of critical components
Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory audits
Track shipments, process purchase orders, and resolve delays or discrepancies
Collaborate closely with maintenance technicians and operations leaders to anticipate needs
Ensure all parts are certified, documented, and compliant with FAA and company standards
Monitor stock levels and recommend reorders or alternative sourcing when necessary
Support maintenance planning through proactive procurement and logistics coordination
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in aviation parts, logistics, or maintenance support (Part 135/145 preferred)
Working knowledge of aircraft components, documentation, and FAA certification requirements
Proficiency with inventory systems, ERP tools, or aviation maintenance software
Strong negotiation, organization, and communication skills
Ability to manage time‑sensitive tasks in a fast‑paced environment
High school diploma or equivalent required; aviation certifications or A&P license a plus
