Payroll Assistant/Revenue Clerk

Reports To:
Senior Payroll Specialist
Schedule:
Varies – up to 29 hours per week
Rate of Pay:
$24 per hour

Responsibilities
Payroll:
UKG-Pro Timekeeping – manage employee access, assist with system updates, verify time and approvals, import time into UKG-Pro.
UKG-Pro – make employee changes, maintain deductions (Short Term Disability, Aflac, Health & Dental, Flex, child support, etc.), process manual checks, update personnel database, ensure payroll processed by deadline.
Receive employee data files, verify accuracy, prepare banking files, calculate total payroll per unit, initiate payroll transfers.
Communicate with HR, Corps, Employees, THQ, Corps Officers, and UKG-Pro.
Prepare government surveys, Social Security prior employment requests, garnishment information with Ceridian and unemployment insurance for Montana.
Generate reports for THQ and keep audit files.
Revenue:
Input and review assigned units’ income with proper coding, recognition, and organization.
Data entry of income into Shelby.
File and maintain revenue records.
Reconcile Payroll Transmission account.
Other Duties:
Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications
Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
Two years of computerized accounting experience.
Understanding of GAAP, labor laws, and payroll tax obligations.
10-key by touch proficiency.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a time‑sensitive manner.
Professional presentation and confidentiality.
Working knowledge of UltiPro or similar HRIS.
Microsoft Office365 proficiency.
Effective use of integrated database applications.
Preferred Qualities

Reflects high standards of the organization.
Requirements
Valid driver's license (minimum age 21). MVR processed annually.
Background check – biennial.
Physical ability to lift 25 pounds, maneuver, operate telephone, and use computer.
