Job Description Complete Logistical Services is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated contract Full-Time Accounting Clerk. This role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Located within our corporate office, this position is designed for candidates seeking an on-site role and is not eligible for remote work. The successful candidate will be intricately involved in the day-to-day accounting operations, contributing directly to the financial accuracy and efficiency of our organization.
The Accounting Clerk will work closely under the supervision of the Accounting Manager to perform a variety of accounting duties. The role requires high levels of precision and competence in handling financial documents and reports. Duties and Responsibilities
Scan and file accounting documents in accordance with record retention guidelines.
Audit and process expense reports.
Reconcile employee advance accounts.
Reconcile vendor statements.
Prepare and process account payable invoices and purchase order payments.
Perform weekly Time & Labor Administrator responsibilities (all aspects).
Prepare journal entries.
Accounts Receivable (collection calls, invoice entry, AR tracking).
File and maintain accounting records and other clerical reports related to the accounting operation.
Daily interfacing and communication with vendors, ADTECH employees, or other employees outside ADTECH.
Understand and assist with the Match Exception and RNV reports/account reconciliations (all aspects).
Understand and comply with accounting policies and procedures (SOX, Government Business Systems, corporate and local process/policies/process instructions).
Additional duties as assigned by the accounting management team.
Participate in special projects or duties as required by the Sr. Management.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 - 4 years of experience in an accounting environment.
Familiarity with basic accounting procedures.
Must possess good written and verbal communication skills with the ability to successfully interact with all levels within the company.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Organizational Skills- the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Costpoint and/or Hyland experience (preferred).
