Principal Research Analyst - Expert with Security Clearance Nightwing provides technically advanced full-spectrum cyber, data operations, systems integration, and intelligence mission support services across the intelligence community, defense, civil, and commercial markets. Our capabilities include cyber space operations, cyber defense and resiliency, vulnerability research, ubiquitous technical surveillance, data intelligence, lifecycle mission enablement, and software modernization.

We are seeking a highly skilled full‑time Research Analyst located in the Tyson’s Corner, VA area to conduct mid‑level classified research, document review, and content redaction in accordance with sponsor directives and policy makers.

Responsibilities

Support program management for guidance and coordinate with stakeholders; research and procure multi‑media equipment for data review.

Create analysis‑based assessments for directorate reviews and provide review support to executive, judicial, and legislative branches.

Prepare, contribute to, and provide substantive review of extensive volumes of redactions for release.

Interact with officials within the agency, the IC, and other government agencies.

Provide on‑site program management and administrative support to facilitate tasks and special requirements through effective task and prioritization workflows.

Perform multiple critical and time‑sensitive tasks simultaneously.

Conduct research, fact‑checking, and validation to ensure data source validity and accuracy.

Apply analytical and critical thinking to derive value from data review and research.

Present findings through clear communication, presentation, and writing.

Build relationships with sponsor management, teams, and outside stakeholders through strong interpersonal skills.

Demonstrate strong knowledge of the sponsor’s business (equities).

Utilize various research, data analytics, modeling, and predictive tools as well as sponsors’ productivity databases.

Create and forecast future trends, often presented in charts, infographics, and other visual aids.

Address problem‑solving challenges of data collection and analysis and guide decision‑makers toward solutions that resolve revealed issues.

Maintain flexibility and adaptability to change, with a current, active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph.

Qualifications

Minimum of five years of experience with a relevant client, ideally across multiple directorates/divisions.

11+ years of experience as a declassification review analyst in the IC or equivalent experience as an Intelligence Analyst.

Ability to perform complex and routine review duties in compliance with written and oral guidance and policies.

Current, active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
