Location: Vernon, CA

Responsibilities

Responsible for troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of production machines, plant facilities and for the proper preventative maintenance of the plant and production equipment assigned. (i.e., Policies, procedures, etc. for which you are responsible.)

Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation. Dismantles machinery and removes/replaces defective parts.

Determines changes in requirements of parts by inspecting and measuring various instruments.

Diagnose and repair malfunctioning production and plant equipment (Type of Machinery Meat grinders, Meat flaker, Meat dicers, Band saw ,Vacuum pack machines, Vacuum tumblers, Scissor lift, Pallet jack, Fork lifts, Floor scrubber, Floor scales, Pressure washer)

Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production equipment

Lubricate equipment on a scheduled basis

Replace broken belts, bearings and motors on equipment as necessary

Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and controls for production equipment and throughout plant
