Job Description
Provide professional support and technical assistance to Government customers for daily business operations in support of the Army's General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) and Army Audit Readiness efforts.
Provide Audit Readiness support under the guidelines set forth by the Assistant Secretary of the Army Financial Management and Comptroller (ASA FM&C) and research and obtain Key Supporting Documentation (KSDs) for program office audit samples.
Research Unmatched Transactions (UMTs), including Unmatched Disbursements (UMDs) and Unmatched Collections (UMCs), and work with DFAS to correct items.
Pull and track Intermediate Document (IDOC) Interface Error Reports for systems such as DTS, SPS, LMP, FCM, AXOL, ATAAPS, and DCPS, and coordinate resolution efforts.
Consolidate, compare, and identify anomalies from data/system reports to meet corrective action requirements (IDOCs, UMTs, and Unliquidated Obligations).
Assist with corrective actions to clear or process identified errors.
Identify process gaps and initiate or implement corrections, including SOPs, recommended training, and job aids.
Independently compile job aids and provide procedural training on processes as requested to end users at the individual and group level in adherence with established policies, rules, and regulations.
Skills and Experience
Experience utilizing various Army financial systems, including GFEBS.
Working knowledge of Army business processes.
Familiarity with BobJ and BI reports to retrieve Contract and Labor actuals from ATAAPS for international reporting.
Knowledge of the Army Joint Reconciliation Process (JRP) and ability to track Accounts Payable (A/P), Open Commits, Unpaid Obligations (UPOs), Unfilled Customer Orders (UFCOs), and Accounts Receivable (A/R) actions.
Ability to pull, format, and analyze Business Intelligence (BI)/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) reports for tracking against established financial metrics.
Position Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and 5‑7 years of relevant experience.
Must possess knowledge of GFEBS and an understanding of Army accounting processes.
Candidate must hold or be able to obtain an ACTIVE Secret security clearance, work independently, and demonstrate strong Excel and communication skills.
