We’re seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to support accurate, compliant payroll operations while partnering closely with the HR/People Team. This role is responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, timekeeping audits, tax reporting, and employee support, with additional involvement in onboarding and HR administration.

Key Responsibilities

Process and balance payroll accurately and on time

Audit timekeeping, wages, deductions, and taxes for compliance

Prepare federal, state, and local tax filings and reports

Manage garnishments and payroll adjustments

Respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies

Maintain payroll and employee records

Support onboarding, offboarding, and general HR administration

Qualifications

3–5 years of payroll experience preferred

Knowledge of payroll systems (Paylocity, IFS a plus)

Strong understanding of wage & hour laws and tax regulations

Advanced attention to detail and deadline-driven mindset

Payroll certification (CPP/FPC) a plus
